In New Horizons, players can update their homes up to eight times, forming what was originally a tent into a three-story house with a basement, living room, open upper floor, and three extra rooms on the main floor. Buying and decorating a home in Animal Crossing has been one of the most coveted features of the series. A fully upgraded home in Animal Crossing: New Horizons may look fairly expensive, but it turns out they’d be a lot more affordable to buy using real-life money than some players may have thought. A recent study by Ebuyer came out showing how much it would cost to own properties from fan-favorite games like Sims and Grand Theft Auto, and luckily for fans of New Horizons, their beloved in-game homes may be more affordable than expected.
